Ogawaya is a traditional-style Japanese hotel, nestled in the heart of the Gero Onsen area. Gero has long been one of Japan's most popular hot spring resorts attracting many onsen enthusiasts. At Ogawaya, we have both indoor and outdoor baths, as well as two private baths for families. We use only 100% natural hot spring water in our baths. A view of the Hida River can be enjoyed while soaking in the outdoor bath.

In the lobby, you are welcome to try our footbath. The natural surroundings and soothing onsen will ensure your comfort. Yukata (Japanese light robes) are available for rent in the lobby, so why not dress in the traditional style and stroll around the onsen area?

In order to fully appreciate the experience of a traditional Japanese hotel, we highly recommend the gourmet dinner, which is available upon request. We offer kaiseki dinner courses, which include local seasonal dishes such as Hida beef and Hida soba. Free shuttle service available from the nearest station.
